Update
We have improved the receipt, bill invoice, store settings, and responsive UI experience to better support real-world restaurant and retail operations. This update focuses on billing documents, thermal printing, member information, E-Tax support, PDF layout accuracy, and mobile usability.
For receipts and bill invoices, the system now supports additional header information, including the shop’s TAX ID and the staff, cashier, or sales person responsible for the transaction. These details are supported in both PDF receipts and thermal printer receipts.
A new member footer has also been added to the receipt. It can display the member name, masked phone number, balance points, and reward points earned from the current bill. The footer layout has been improved with a double-line separator to make the member section cleaner and easier to read on both PDF and thermal receipts.
Product items on the receipt now support unit price display. Each item line can show quantity, product name, unit price, and total price in a structured format, making the receipt clearer and more professional for customers and staff.
For E-Tax support, the store settings now include an option to choose between displaying an E-Tax notice message or printing a QR Code for customers to scan and request an electronic tax invoice. The selected E-Tax information will appear at the bottom of the receipt after the thank-you message.
Several layout and printing issues have also been fixed. For thermal printer receipts, we added a Thai font width normalization helper that calculates Thai character width more accurately by excluding upper vowels, lower vowels, and tone marks. This helps receipt columns align correctly and prevents Thai text from shifting or overlapping.
For PDF receipts, we fixed the centering issue where logos, thank-you text, and QR Codes could appear slightly shifted to the right. The printable area and X-axis positioning are now clearly defined, allowing all centered elements to align properly on 80mm receipt paper.
The PDF page height calculation has also been improved with a more dynamic formula. Receipt height now adjusts based on the number of items and footer elements, helping reduce unnecessary blank space at the end of printed receipts.
In the store settings UI, E-Tax and billing-related fields have been separated from the general shop identity section. These fields are now placed in a dedicated Billing / E-Tax Card, making the settings page cleaner, easier to understand, and more convenient to manage.
This update also includes multiple responsive design and mobile usability improvements. Touch targets for the mobile overlay close button and hamburger menu have been increased to 44x44px for easier tapping. Safari and iOS backdrop blur rendering has been improved with better -webkit-backdrop-filter support.
Forms across shift settings, menu management, buffet settings, blog, member registration, and user management have been adjusted to display as a single-column layout on mobile devices, then automatically switch back to a two-column layout on tablet and desktop screens. This prevents fields and buttons from becoming too compressed on smaller screens.
We also added a global pointer cursor style for buttons and clickable elements, making interactive components clearer to users. The QR slip and payment modal has been updated with scrollable content support for smaller screens, allowing users to view the receipt and scan the payment QR Code more comfortably without affecting the print layout.
